When inviting guests to join you for a weekend in another part of the world, there are different details to consider when it comes to the flow, events and overall itinerary. While ensuring guests feel honored to be a part of your weekend is always a necessity, it becomes even more of one when you’re asking them to invest more of their time and financial resources than a traditional wedding would command. This week, I talk all about the events that I consider to be must-haves vs. nice-to-haves during your destination wedding weekend. I also discuss how to ensure you’re courteous of your guest’s time by giving them the right amount of downtime to explore the destination you’ve selected as well as enough face time to ensure they feel their presence was meaningful to you as a couple.
