Time is flying by… can you believe the 4th of July is almost upon us? I can’t wait – I’m having a little BBQ at our home, complete with great friends and great food. I can’t wait to try a few of the recipes I’ve found on the web – especially this fried chicken, and the hand shaped apple pies look so delicious! I’m also a huge fan of a refreshing, fruity cocktail. Here is how to make an amazing, summery Rosé Sangria, like the one pictured above (five) –

Recipe: Rosé Sangria
Serves 4-6

1 (750 ml) bottle crisp dry rosé
3 tablespoons Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
3 tablespoons agave nectar
1 cup raspberries
½ cup cubed watermelon
½ peach, thinly sliced
5 to 6 thin slices lime
Ice, for serving

In a large pitcher, combine the rosé, Triple Sec and agave nectar. Add the raspberries, watermelon, peach and lime and gently stir to combine. Chill for 3 to 4 hours. Serve cold, over ice.
