Those of you who know me, know I’m not a big fan of having wedding “colors”. I’ve never really understood what a strict palette of pink and chocolate or purple and silver really say about the couple being celebrated? Don’t get me wrong…there are certain palettes and colors that are perfect to communicate a vision and a desired vibe. For instance, yellow will always be a “happy” color to me. And, a base palette of black, grays and white says classic, sophisticated and maybe even glamourous if paired with the right elements. The perfect blends of pinks, creams and sepias typically make for a super sweet and utterly romantic wedding. And, green, well green just says fresh, crisp, clean, organic, natural, so on and so on and so on. I truly believe green, of almost every shade, is the ultimate neutral that goes with anything! It’s nature’s canvas and really makes an appearance in almost every color story we are creating from sophisticated to effortless, over the top to understated. In honor of the upcoming celebration of green (St. Patty’s Day!), we wanted to share a few of our favorite details that feature or just have hints of the glorious shade:
