At BHE we’re definitely a tight night group who’s used to spending lots of time together and we definitely prefer it that way. So as you can imagine, this social distancing thing hasn’t been our favorite thing. But if  you know us at all, you likely already know that nothing can stop us from celebrating in style. For our recent online happy hour we turned to no other than Cocktail Academy to bring their delicious custom cocktails right into our home. They delivered custom cocktail kits right to our doorstep with everything we needed to make our very own Watermelon Rickey.

2 oz Don Julio Blanco
1 oz fresh Lime Juice
.75 oz Watermelon Syrup
Fever Tree Club Soda
Fruit Leather for garnish (optional)

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker, quick hard shake. Strain over fresh ice in collins glass. Top with Fever Tree club soda. Garnish with dehydrated watermelon. Watermelon syrup was made with equal parts fresh watermelon juice to pure cane sugar, simply stir until all sugar is dissolved.

Just in case you’re not in the area to get a cocktail kit made for you, we asked Matt Landes, the founder of Cocktail Academy, for a couple other easy to make, yet still delicious, recipes that you could recreate as a kit for your group or simply to enjoy on your own.
