While most couples who bring us onto the team generally understand our role, there is typically at least one member of the “planning committee”, as I like to call it, who doesn’t fully understand the role of a wedding planner, which is understandable given the amount of couples who go sans planner and the variety of tasks of all levels we take on in this role. In this week’s video I share more about how the title “wedding planner” is very much a synonym for “project manager” and we are not “project managers” of any ole project. Instead we are at the helm of one of the biggest financial and emotional investments our clients are likely to make as a couple aside from buying a home. I dive deeper into this topic in the video below, but as with any large investment, it is beneficial to have an expert to guide you through the process.
