We’re heading to Aspen this week to for a destination wedding weekend on a 160 acre ranch that is one of the most raw and, not to mention, beautiful locations we’ve ever worked. We have an amazing celebration planned for J&M’s wedding guests that includes a Thursday night cocktail party, a Friday baseball game & BBQ, of course, the big day, and a brunch complete with bloody mary’s and hearty breakfast burritos. It’s going to be a weekend the couple and guests will never forget!
The design for the day is rustic romance with a very sophisticated edge with layers upon layers of ranch inspired, luxury textiles in shades of cream, camel, taupe, browns and blacks in patterns that have a southwestern nod yet are refined at the same time. Florals and lighting will range from the softest shades of ivory to blush pink and peach and presented in vessels made of hammered silver, country white ceramics and organic wood. It’s my dream come to life and we can’t wait to share the end design. In the meantime, a tiny portion of their inspiration board will have to tide you over:
We plan to share a full recap of our travels next week, but in the mean time, grab a Paloma (a favorite midwestern cocktail) and get in a Colorado state of mind with us!
