Venue scouting is tough work. If I could make one suggestion, please, please wear comfortable shoes. When finding the perfect spot for my couples, I’ve found myself in some pretty crazy terrain and have seen several of my couples ruin beautiful shoes during the search. I typically go with some great flats or even boots depending on the region. If you’re a lady and just have to have a little lift, wedges can work, but if you’re really up for a day of marathon scouting, consider comfort this one time. Here are just a few of my favorite go tos when finding THE spot.
